
An Egyptian actor known as “Abu Lahab of Egyptian Cinema,” Fawzi Darwish, in 1910, in Beheira Governorate, then he moved to Cairo to study there at Cairo University, but he did not complete his full education, so he worked as a writer in the Civil Affairs Authority, until by chance he was alone with director Mohamed Karim in 1956 in the movie Delilah with Abdel Halim Hafez. His artistic career included 9 works, a radio act, two plays, and 6 films. He also worked as a radio actor and excelled in religious roles, and one of his films was “This Man I Love” in 1962. The artist Fawzi Darwish died in the first half of the seventies of the last century.
