Overview

1 2 3 4 Bam is a fantasy comedy that imagines what happens when an entire family, dead for thirty years, is resurrected and deposited into their grandchildren's home in 1970s Egypt. The culture shock is total: the returned ancestors find themselves confronted with a world where girls wear short skirts without shame, alcohol flows freely, and the social mores they once lived by have been swept away by a new era of openness. The play mines rich comedic territory from the collision between the rigid values of the past and the liberated attitudes of the seventies.
