Overview

Dear Grandfather is an Egyptian romantic comedy starring Boshra, Mahmoud Yassin, and Ahmed Fahmy. Fikria, played by Boshra, returns to Egypt after losing her fortune in stock market speculation, drawn partly by genuine worry for her ailing grandfather Hussein, played by Mahmoud Yassin, and partly by hopes of an inheritance. But when his health improves, the two grow closer and embark together on a search for his long-lost love from years past. Along the way, Fikria falls for Adham, played by Ahmed Fahmy, the grandson of the woman her grandfather once loved. The film weaves two generations of love stories into a warm and bittersweet comedy about family, second chances, and the price of putting love aside.
