Overview
After the Battle is an Egyptian political romantic drama directed by Yousry Nasrallah, set against the backdrop of the infamous Battle of the Camel during Egypt's 2011 uprising. Reem, a young political activist working at an advertising firm, becomes determined to uncover the truth behind the incident. Accompanying her friend Farah to the Nazlet Al Seman area, she meets Mahmoud, a man who was involved in the events of that day. An unexpected attraction develops between them, placing Reem at the center of a profound emotional conflict between her political convictions and her personal feelings.
