Hassan Terro, is a 1967 Algerian movie, directed by Mohammed Lakhdar-Hamina, and starring Rouiched, Keltoum (Aïcha Adjouri), Larbi Zekkal. with a runtime of 90 minutes.
Hassan Terro is an Algerian comedy film set during the Battle of Algiers. Hassan is an honest, simple-minded father with one desire: to stay well clear of the bloody revolutionary upheaval engulfing his city. That plan falls apart when he unknowingly gives shelter to a mujahid sought by the French army. A cascade of events and misunderstandings snowballs beyond Hassan's control, and he finds himself cast in the role of "Hassan Terro" — a fearsome fictitious terrorist whose reputation sends the French military into a panic. The film is a sharp and affectionate satire that uses one ordinary man's absurd predicament to lampoon the machinery of colonial fear.
