Our Algeria (Djazaïrouna) is a 1959 Algerian documentary produced by the cinema service of the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic (GPRA), directed by Djamel-Eddine Chanderli and Mohammed Lakdar-Hamina, using footage captured by René Vautier and Doctor Pierre Chaulet. Created as a message to the international community at the United Nations, the film uses montage to articulate the objectives of the Algerian resistance during the War of Independence (1954–1962). It documents the political and military actions of the National Liberation Army (ALN), the December 1960 demonstrations, and an attack on a fortified French border base. A landmark piece of revolutionary cinema that preceded the later film The Voice of the People.
