Overview
Douar de Femmes is an Algerian drama set during the darkest years of the country's civil conflict in the 1990s, when armed Islamist groups terrorised rural communities. Young Sabrina, orphaned by the violence, grows up among these formidable women and witnesses their transformation from civilians into guardians.
