Krim Belkacem is an Algerian historical drama film that chronicles the life and resistance journey of one of the most pivotal figures of the Algerian War of Independence. Beginning with his departure from the Dellys barracks in October 1945, fresh from the aftermath of World War II and still burning with rage over the massacres of Sétif, Guelma, and Kherrata, the film traces how a 23-year-old man gradually transforms into a revolutionary leader. By March 1947, Krim has gone underground with six companions, building an extensive clandestine resistance network across Algeria — a network that will ultimately fuel the outbreak of armed struggle on November 1, 1954.
