Overview
Bodyguard is an Egyptian thriller film built around a tense prison deal between Adham, an ordinary inmate, and Saad, a businessman jailed for allegedly embezzling 700 million Egyptian pounds. The two strike an agreement: Adham will serve as a personal bodyguard to Saad's wife Aisha on the outside. The arrangement quickly unravels when Aisha falls in love with Adham, a development discovered by Saad's friend Kathem who immediately reports back to his imprisoned boss. Enraged, Saad fabricates a criminal charge against Adham and plots to escape with his stolen fortune, but Adham proves to be an obstacle he did not anticipate. The film delivers suspense-driven drama built on betrayal, manipulation, and a bodyguard who refuses to be a pawn.
