Overview

Battalion 101 is an Egyptian military drama series based on real events from the fight against terrorism in the Sinai Peninsula. Set against the backdrop of the deadliest conflict the region witnessed in 2014, the series follows the elite Egyptian Armed Forces Battalion 101 as they confront takfiri and terrorist organizations in North Sinai. The story launches on January 28, 2018, when militants strike a vital military installation in Arish, forcing the battalion into a series of brutal ambushes and impossible missions. A patriotic tribute to Egyptian soldiers who risked everything to secure the region.
