Ahmed is looking forward to marrying Dawlat, his friend's sister, and due to the social and financial difference between them, her father rejects the idea of their marriage, so Ahmed sends a letter to him, asking for Dawlat's hand, but her cousin Ibrahim tears up part of the letter to reflect the meaning of the remaining part, and when Dawlat reads the incomplete letter, she understands that Ahmed is greedy for her money, so she becomes angry with him, and hits him in the face with a whip, causing Ahmed to lose his mind and be transferred to a mental hospital. Daulat finds the other half of the letter and realizes the truth.
