Overview

White Honey is an Egyptian comedy film that wrings laughs from a kidnapping gone comically wrong. When a criminal gang abducts the young son of a wealthy family, they quickly discover that the child is far more trouble than they bargained for. The ensuing attempts to return the boy — and collect a ransom in the process — spiral into a series of increasingly absurd and ironic situations that turn the would-be criminals into unwitting victims of their own scheme. Light-hearted and fast-paced, the film is a crowd-pleasing farce built on sharp situational comedy.
