The Orphan and the Wolves is an Egyptian drama that exposes the double life of crime hidden behind a legitimate fishing trade. Zakaria, known as The Teacher, runs a fishing fleet as a front for drug trafficking. When Sheikh Saleh, a friend and employer, demands he stop his illegal operations or face the police, the tension mounts. Meanwhile, an unsuspecting young man is recruited by someone he trusts to transport goods by boat to Port Said, only to discover that his supposed friend is a member of Zakaria's criminal gang. The film is a gripping portrayal of how criminal networks exploit ordinary people's trust and vulnerability.
