Al-Worta (The Predicament) is a Moroccan comedy film that follows Said and his wife Zineb on what should have been a relaxing weekend getaway to a hotel in Beni Mellal. The trip begins light-heartedly enough, with Zineb warming up to the idea of shopping excursions while Said seeks entertainment and leisure. However, a chance encounter with a mysterious woman named Hanan throws everything into disarray. Behind her calm exterior, Hanan conceals a dangerous secret — her ties to a criminal gang plotting to steal a priceless dagger from a museum and smuggle it onto the international black market. What started as a simple holiday spirals into an unexpected entanglement with crime and deception.
