Headbang Lullaby, is a 2017 Moroccan movie, directed by Hicham Lasri, and starring Adil Abatourab, Latefa Ahrrare, Zoubida Akif. with a runtime of 111 minutes.
Headbang Lullaby is a 1986 Moroccan drama set on a single charged day — June 11, 1986 — the morning after Morocco's historic World Cup victory over Portugal. Government official Daoud is tasked with securing a bridge outside Casablanca ahead of a possible visit by King Hassan II. As he waits on an empty highway between two hostile communities, he encounters a cross-section of Moroccan society: regime loyalists, families of political prisoners, a mysterious foreign woman, a Berber man, and a football-obsessed boy. Paralysed since the bloody bread riots five years earlier, Daoud finds that the nation's euphoria on the pitch begins to rekindle his own will to live — even as the surreal shadow of monarchy looms over every moment.
