Overview

Al Farrouj is a Moroccan comedy that explores the comic friction between two neighbors from very different worlds. Michel, a French national, lives in a riad beside the home of Boujemâa, a local Moroccan. When Michel converts the property into a bustling tourist guest house, the constant noise of visitors and the persistent crowing of a rooster turns the once-peaceful neighborhood into a battleground. A light and entertaining look at cultural collision and the small irritations of daily life that can unravel even the most neighborly of relations.
