Overview

"Men Don't Marry Beautiful Women" is an Egyptian romantic comedy that plays with conventions of beauty and marriage. Karima is self-conscious about her prominent nose, which she believes drives away potential suitors. Hussein, meanwhile, has sworn off beautiful women after his attractive wife's infidelity — determined to marry someone plainly unremarkable. Fate brings them together in a match that suits them both perfectly, and Karima blossoms in the happiness of their marriage — to the point where she begins to consider rhinoplasty. A charming comedy about self-image, trust, and the unexpected places where love quietly takes root.
