Overview

The Sixth District is a sharp political satire that follows a band of cunning thieves who decide to run for parliamentary office in a fictitious electoral district. Using their criminal expertise to game the election system, the group wins seats in the National Assembly and finds themselves unexpectedly thrust into the heart of government formation — with one of their own eventually appointed as a minister. A boldly comic indictment of political corruption and the absurdities of power, the series uses dark humor to expose how thin the line between crime and governance can be.
