The Brothers, is a 2022 Moroccan movie, directed by Mohamed Amine Al Ahmar, and starring Mohamed Bassou, Talis, Fadila Benmoussa. with a runtime of 130 minutes.
Al Ikhwan is a Moroccan social comedy following three inseparable friends from the slums of Casablanca — Zreka, Charo, and Abdelssadek — who call themselves brothers and share the same bitter reality of poverty, unemployment, and social marginalization. Dreaming of fame and a way out, they record a video that they hope will make them famous, but their naivety and carelessness leave them dangerously exposed. Manipulated by others, they soon find themselves the subject of a nationwide search warrant, fugitives from a system they barely understood. The film balances its crowd-pleasing comedy with a pointed portrait of the young men that Moroccan society has left behind.
