
She was born in Cairo to a Jewish family in 1988. She began her artistic career in 1905 as a singer in the Iskander Farah Band, then became a professional actor, then moved to the Salama Hegazy Band and from there to the Salim Atallah Band in 1910, the George Abyad Band in 1912, the Hegazy Band, then the George Abyad Band in 1920, and the Fatima Rushdi Band. And the (Youssef Wehbe) band in 1928, at the beginning of its establishment. The Amin Atta troupe in 1925, the Misr troupe in 1930, the Actors’ Union troupe in 1934, then the Egyptian troupe in 1935. Plays were performed in various troupes before 1935, including the plays “Martyrs of Love,” “The Famous Case,” “The Victim of the Ghastly,” “Louis XI,” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” (Ghada Al-Kamiliah), (Sultan Abdul Hamid), (The Titans), (Children of the Poor), (The People of the Cave), (The Day of Resurrection), (Aziza and Yunus), (Father Libonar), (The Fan), (Al-Abbasah), and (The Woman’s Crown). She is the older sister of actress Najma Ibrahim.
