Sayed Aly

An Egyptian production manager, producer, and distributor. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1954, then worked as an employee at Studio Misr until 1958. He went into film production and worked on the film “Beginning and Ending” as a production assistant in 1960, directed by Salah Abu Seif. During the period from 1960 to 1964, he worked in some films as a production assistant and production manager. For a short period, his first film production was the film “First Love” by director Abdel Rahman Sharif, then he returned to work. As a production manager and executive producer in many major productions and some dramatic works, he had experience in the American international film “Khartoum” from Egypt as a production manager for directors Basil Dearden and Elliott Ellisophon. Then he settled in as a producer and distributor. He presented many very famous artistic works, especially in the era of the seventies and eighties, and he also had experience in writing, including films (The Accusation and A Man Killed by Love). He was one of the contributors to the emergence of the star of the artist Ahmed Zaki by nominating him in the film Baddour, and he also helped in the success of the director Nader Galal in the early stages of his artistic beginnings. He died in 1994 as a result of a severe drop in blood circulation as a result of a surgical operation he performed.
