
Muhammad Al-Azabi was born in the Al-Hussein neighborhood in Cairo, the son of a musician. He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce. He worked as an employee at the General Petroleum Association. He turned to singing. He was discovered by Izzat Al-Jahili. He joined the Reda Band in 1957 and became its vocalist. He sang for it: “The Ring of Anklets,” “The Magic Flute,” and “Ramadan Lantern.” He traveled with the band to all parts of the world before separating from it in 1969. Among his songs: “How is Health?” “Luxor is our country” “Baheya” was honored at the Song Festival in 2003.
