Mahfouz Abdel Rahman

Egyptian writer. He graduated from Cairo University in 1960, after which he worked at Dar Al-Hilal Foundation, after which he moved to work in the Ministry of Culture. During this period, he wrote in many journalistic periodicals, including (Al-Adab, Al-Masaa, Al-Jumhuriya, Al-Ahram, Al-Bayan Al-Emaratiya, and Al-Arabi). He published a group of literary works, including (The Search for the Unknown, Four Winters, and The Eighth Day). He wrote many television series, the most important of which are (Umm Kulthum, Al-Halawani Gate, The Night of the Fall of Granada, Suleiman Al-Halabi), and he also wrote for cinema (Al-Qadisiyah, Nasser 56, Halim).
