An Egyptian actor, born in 1955 in Cairo. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in the Department of Decoration at the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1976. He initially worked in the field of decoration, then decided to pursue art professionally, so he joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, where he specialized in the fields of directing and acting. Magdy Imam made a number of films until the early 1990s, then he retired from acting and then went on to present religious programmes. Among his films are: Beware, Gentlemen, They are Stealing Rabbits, Humans and Jinns, and Al-Jawhara.
