An Egyptian writer and production manager, whose full name is (Atef Ali Abdel Azim). He was born in the Old Cairo neighborhood in 1940. He began his artistic career in 1956 as a production assistant in the movie (I Will Never Cry), and he progressed in his work from production assistant to production manager. In addition to his work in the field of production, Atef Rizk wrote the scripts for a number of films, and the first film he wrote was the film (Jadaan Bab Al-Sharia), and he also wrote the films (Titans of the Port, Customary Passport, and A Smile in the Eyes).
