An Egyptian actress, dancer, director and producer, she was born in the city of Tanta in 1908. She moved to live in Cairo in 1918 when she was ten years old after the death of Amina Rizk’s father, Sheikh Muhammad Rizk Al-Jifri, who was supporting her. She joined with Amina Rizk at Diaa Al-Sharq Primary School located in Abdeen, and her real artistic beginning was on the stage when she joined the Ramses troupe after meeting Youssef Wehbe in the year 1924, but it did not last long, especially with Youssef Wehbe’s preference for Amina Rizk over her and her monthly salary being higher than her. She then moved between theatrical troupes, working with the troupes of Najib Al-Rihani, the Okasha Brothers, and Amin Atallah. Then she turned to belly dancing and became known as a first dancer. She also danced with Badia Masabni’s troupe, and because of her fame as a dancer, she participated in the films (Ghost of the Past, Dr. Farahat, 100,000 Pounds, and Love). Al-Marstani), and in 1937 she decided to go into film production through her company (Amina Film) to present her film (Titawong), which she co-directed and wrote, and participated in implementing all its artistic processes with a large group of artists, including Salah Abu Seif, Ahmed Kamel Morsi, Kamal Selim, and the plastic artists Salah Taher and Abdul Hamid Al-Sharif. Years later, she decided to completely retire from the artistic field and devote herself to working in the fields of tourism and trade until her death.
