Egyptian director, screenwriter and producer, born in Cairo in 1953. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Directing. He worked as an assistant director at the beginning of his career. He is the brother of the artist (Magda Al-Khatib), and he directed many of the films that she produced and starred in. Among his directed works are the films (The Cursed House) and (Ibn Tahiyya Azouz), and among his written works are the film (Al-Askari Shabrawi), and the film (Karakoon in the Street) by artist Adel Imam, which is considered one of his most prominent artistic works.
