An Egyptian actor, born in Dakahlia Governorate in 1928. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. At the beginning of the sixties, he participated in the performances of the Abdul Rahman Al-Khamisi theater group, including (Ezbet Benayouti), after which he presented the plays (Rawd Al-Faraj) and (Al-Barima) for the Modern Theater Group. He also worked for television and radio, and his most prominent works include the series (Abu Al-Ala 90, Al-Sabar, Dream of the South), and in cinema he participated in many films, including (Why Ya Dunya, The Night of Murder, Nasser 56, Three on the Road).
