One of the People is an Egyptian drama that follows Mahmoud, an ordinary young man working as a security guard at a parking garage whose quiet life is shattered in an instant. When he witnesses a murder at his workplace, Mahmoud makes the fateful decision to speak the truth and testify against the killer. His honesty costs him everything — powerful criminal figures conspire to send him to prison, crushing his modest dreams. After his release, Mahmoud is no longer the simple, passive man he once was. Driven by grief, anger, and a hunger for justice, he sets out to take revenge on those who destroyed his life. The film is a compelling social thriller about an ordinary man pushed to his limits by a corrupt system.
