Overview

The Red Zone is an Iraqi thriller series that begins with a jolt when archaeologist Yousef returns to Baghdad after years living abroad, only to be immediately thrust into crisis. Forced to kill his neighbor Rahma's husband in self-defense, Yousef and Rahma make the fateful decision to hide the body — a choice that quickly comes back to haunt them when an unknown blackmailer surfaces, armed with video evidence of the crime. What starts as an act of survival escalates into a tense and dangerous psychological game, as the two are manipulated by an unseen threat with their futures hanging in the balance.
