The Lady of the Black Moons is an Egyptian dramatic film starring Nahid Yusri as Aida, a young woman from poverty who chooses wealth over love — marrying the rich businessman Sami (Adel Adham) while leaving behind the law student Omar (Hussein Fahmi), whom she truly loves. The marriage grants her the life she craved but none of the contentment she imagined. Tormented by repressed longing and unresolved desire, Aida is plagued by recurring nightmares on full-moon nights. As the emotional and psychological pressure mounts, she spirals toward a reckoning with the choices she made and the woman she has become. A dark, psychologically layered portrait of ambition, regret, and self-destruction.
