Overview

Rodaj is an Egyptian thriller that follows Jihad, a young mechanic who falls deeply in love with Qamar, only to face the violent opposition of her brother, a powerful figure who threatens to destroy their relationship at any cost. Forced to flee together into the desert, the couple's escape ends in a catastrophic car accident — Jihad survives, but Qamar vanishes without a trace. Stranded in the wilderness and hunted by her vengeful brother, Jihad refuses to leave until he finds her. His only lead is a mysterious hermit who lives in a crumbling desert gas station and earns his living taxidermying eagles. Convinced this strange figure knows what happened to Qamar, Jihad pursues a dangerous and suspenseful search for truth in the heart of the empty desert.
