Overview

Qarmat in Trouble is an Egyptian comedy film starring Al-Qarmouti, an opportunistic businessman who runs a fake tourism company and has even turned his ancestors' graveyard into a paid tourist attraction — landing him in hot water with the authorities. When a journalist accidentally films an antiquities smuggling operation and the incriminating tape ends up in Al-Qarmouti's hands, he suddenly finds himself in far greater danger than he bargained for: relentlessly pursued by the smugglers desperate to silence him.
