Overview

Who Said? (Meen Aal?) is an Egyptian social drama film that tackles one of the most relatable coming-of-age conflicts: the gap between parental expectations and personal ambition. Sherif achieves high school results good enough to enter the Faculty of Engineering — his parents' dream for him. But Sherif has a different vision entirely: he wants to build his own business manufacturing chairs out of paper. The film places the audience at the crossroads of tradition and individual aspiration, asking whether success must follow a prescribed path, or whether young people have the right to define it on their own terms.
