Overview
Hubb fi Al-Fallujah (Love in Fallujah) is an Iraqi comedic romantic play set in the city of Fallujah, following a family comprising father Abu Jawad (Muhammad Al-Salman), mother Umm Jawad (Mona Shaddad), and daughters Farah (Zainab Al-Askari) and Lamis. The persistent cousin Faris (Ali Al-Mufidi) relentlessly pursues Farah's hand, but faces stiff competition when Kuwaiti cousin Majid (Wald Al-Deira) arrives — a man who shares a past love story with Farah. As Faris schemes to drive Majid away, the play builds to a warm and comedic resolution that affirms love's ability to triumph over rivalry and family politics.
