His wife Amel — his emotional, moral, and financial pillar — supports the ambitious project while quietly suffering when Slah becomes inexplicably drawn to Aisha, a young woman he accidentally knocks down with his car, who becomes his friend and creative muse. In a gesture of extraordinary generosity, Amel invites Aisha to join them at her family's oasis in southern Tunisia, setting the stage for a tense three-way household where desire, suspicion, and love intertwine.
