Dance of the Wind (La Danse du Vent) is an Algerian-Tunisian co-production and the fourth feature film by director Taïeb Louhichi. Shot digitally, the film marks a stylistic departure — trading the sweeping landscapes of his earlier work for intimate introspection. Director Youssef travels to southern Tunisia to scout locations when a chance encounter with a captivating Berber woman who refuses to be filmed sets him adrift. What follows is a meditative desert journey where mirages, childhood memories, anxiety, and the fear of creative failure converge. His car becomes both his anchor and his only companion in the vast, unforgiving Sahara.
