Overview

Love and War is an Iraqi black comedy series following Fawzi, played by Qasem Al-Mallak, and his fiancée Faten, portrayed by Nagham Al-Sultani, as they struggle to get married amid the chaos and political upheaval that followed the Third Gulf War. Through a series of biting satirical situations, the show captures the absurdity of daily life in Iraq during a period of governmental paralysis and social instability.
