Anam Al Rubaie

Theater and television actress from Iraq. She began her artistic career in 1987. She became famous for her comedic roles. She started in the Amara Theater with her husband, the artist Abdul-Jabbar Hassan, who presented the experience of floating theater in the marshes in the 1970s, and they achieved great success together. She paid a heavy price for this success because of her family’s tension with her because of her presence in the arts, but she did not care, but rather continued the journey in a deeper and more solid way. With the director (Jamal Abd Jassim) and the artist (Tamara Mahmoud), Inaam formed a beautiful trio in Iraqi drama and together they presented many successful works. The first theatrical work from Maysan Governorate to Baghdad in 1972 in the play (Lanterns) by the author and artist Taha Salem. As for my first television work, it was with the director Jamal Abd Jassim in the series (The Swing of Fire) by the producer Abbas Kamel.
