Comedian Amal Taha had suffered a stroke in 2009, causing paralysis on the left side of her body, causing her to be cut off from the artistic community. The pioneer of Iraqi art stated, before her death, that she dreamed of walking on her feet, even a few meters, but it was difficult in light of the possibility of rudimentary treatment in the nursing home where she was staying. She appealed to the government to treat her outside the country, but Amal Taha lost hope without losing her usual smile among her fans.
