Hello Cairo is an Egyptian-Kuwaiti comedy film uniting stars from both countries in a warm and entertaining production. Kuwaiti youth Tariq Al Ali arrives in Cairo only to be struck by the car of a funeral director played by Hassan Hosni, who — racked with guilt and finding that the young man has lost his memory — claims the stranger is his own son and takes him home. Into the mix comes Alaa Morsi as the funeral director's son-in-law, who schemes to exploit the situation for personal gain. A humorous celebration of Egypt's reputation as a refuge and haven for Arabs from across the region, Hello Cairo is the first Egyptian-Kuwaiti co-production in over forty years.
