Overview
Formattage is a Moroccan drama that follows Rihana, a married woman confronted with an extraordinary challenge when her husband Ramzi returns from the traditional Maristan of Boya Omar having lost his memory. In a desperate attempt to restore his identity, Rihana constructs a curated set of data and memories designed to reprogram his sense of self. However, Ramzi's inherent resistance to this reconstructed reality undermines her efforts, leaving both characters stranded between who he was and who she needs him to be. The film offers a thoughtful meditation on identity, memory, and the fragility of the self.
