Nightbooks is a landmark Lebanese musical television special that premiered in 1971 on Lebanon Television, representing the golden era of Arabic broadcast entertainment. Written and composed by the legendary Rahbani Brothers, the program was directed by Antoine C. Remi and brought together an extraordinary roster of Lebanese performing artists. At its center stands the incomparable Fayrouz, joined by Nasri Shams El Din, Hoda Haddad, Joseph Nassif, Elie Choueiri, Georgette Sayegh, Melhem Barakat, and the Lebanese Popular Group, among others.
