Clash, is a 2016 Egyptian movie, and starring Nelly Karim, Tarek Abdelaziz, Hani Adel, with a runtime of 95 minutes. Content rating: 15.
Clash is a bold and award-winning Egyptian drama film directed by Mohamed Diab, set against the turbulent backdrop of the summer 2013 political upheaval following the ousting of President Mohamed Morsi. Protesters from sharply opposing political camps find themselves locked together inside a single police van, forced into an uncomfortably intimate space where their ideological differences collide with raw human need. Shot almost entirely inside the vehicle, the film creates an intense and claustrophobic atmosphere that transforms a police van into a microcosm of Egyptian society at its most fractured. A landmark of modern Arabic cinema, Clash earned international recognition for its fearless political storytelling and ensemble performances.
