Overview

The Island 2 is an Egyptian action thriller and the sequel to the blockbuster first film. Following his escape from prison, the formidable Mansour Al-Hefni reunites with his son Ali and his brother, setting his sights on reclaiming control of the island and recovering everything he lost. Ahmed El Sakka returns to the lead role, while Khaled Saleh plays Jaafar, a jihadist traveler imprisoned for arms smuggling who forges a close bond with Mansour behind bars. Together they plan their escape while Mansour negotiates dangerous deals with the Interior Ministry, setting the stage for an explosive confrontation over power, loyalty, and territory.
