Overview
Cairo - Berlin is a contemporary Egyptian drama film set in the restless, disillusioned atmosphere of post-revolution Cairo. Nour, a 29-year-old woman, has endured years of failed attempts to find her place in a society that promised change but delivered disappointment. She secretly makes plans to leave Egypt for good. In the charged hours before her departure, Nour confronts two simultaneous battles: an external struggle against the suffocating expectations of a patriarchal world, and an internal fight to guard a deeply personal secret.
