Overview
The Jewel and The Fisherman is an Arabic drama film that traces the moral downfall of Ghadab, a poor fisherman whose life is upended when he discovers a precious pearl inside a catch from the sea. Overnight wealth transforms him in the worst way — the humble man who once knew hardship turns against his own village, using newly found riches and a circle of ruthless allies to oppress the very people he grew up alongside.
