Overview
The Crime (Al-Jarima) is an Egyptian psychological thriller series set against the backdrop of the 1970s, tracing the story of Adel, a middle-aged man confined to a psychiatric clinic whose dark past gradually comes to light. Raised by a strict grandfather who left a deep imprint on his character, Adel meets and marries his great love Nadia — only for her mysterious disappearance to trigger a devastating chain of crimes. Investigator Amgad Al-Husseiny takes on the case and begins peeling back layers of secrets and shocking revelations. The series combines period atmosphere with taut psychological suspense, building to a finale full of unexpected twists.
