Overview

Casablanca, Casablanca is a Moroccan drama that tells the story of Aicha, a young girl who one day simply disappears. Her father, already navigating a difficult life, finds the weight of her absence almost impossible to bear. Set against the backdrop of the sprawling and indifferent city of Casablanca, the film quietly traces a father's grief and search in a world that moves on without pause. It is a sparse, affecting portrait of loss and the feeling of invisibility that can overwhelm those caught in the margins of a big, uncaring city.
