The Accusation is an Egyptian drama-thriller that follows Bahiga, a woman whose life spirals out of control in the span of a single homecoming. Traveling to Cairo to celebrate her friend Zuzu's wedding, Bahiga returns home to find herself unexpectedly thrown out by her husband with no explanation. She takes refuge at her father's house, where Zuzu organizes a gathering to lift her spirits — but the evening turns sinister when a young man is shot dead in the garden, and Bahiga becomes the prime suspect. A tense, character-driven film about innocence, circumstance, and the precariousness of a woman's social standing in Egyptian society.
